Ken, glad you came through Whitefish. Enjoyed your visit. My father-in-law is visiting, and we told him about your journey. Remember we talked about him. He did the cross country bike tour at 64 after two knees and hips replaced. Anyhow, he said he was sorry he missed you, and wishes he could join you on the road. He’s still riding at 84, and the group he road cross-country with still gets together every year to ride. One guy in his 90’s. They call themselves the “Old Spokes”. Enjoying your blog. One of these days, I’d love to do the same trip. Keep rolling!!
ARE YOU GOING TO CONTINUE ON A NORTHERN ROUTE TO CROSS THE USA OR COMING FURTHER DOWN SOUTH? YOUR TRIP IS DEFINITELY SOMETHING TO TELL YOUR GRANDCHILDREN! IT GIVES ME A WHOLE NEW PERSPECTIVE ON YOUR DETERMINATION TO SUCCEED. JUST WANT TO SAY I VALUE OUR LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIP, AND GOOD LUCK FOR THE BALANCE OF YOUR TRIP. I AM PROUD TO SAY I “KNEW YOU WHEN”.
